Colorful and Fun High School Sweethearts Wedding

We believe beach weddings should be full of color, fun, and laughter, and this big day fits all three requirements perfectly! Local high school sweethearts Caitlin and Ryan celebrated in vibrant style at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach. Their shared love of travel was evidenced on their reception tables and Dr. Seuss-inspired table seating chart that showed guests where the couple had been and where they were headed.

Jessica Ryan Photography captured both the smiles on the couple's faces and each gorgeous detail that helped tell Caitlin and Ryan's wedding story. Navy blue was the color palette with pops of tangerine, bright pink, and green. We love the bride's scalloped neckline wedding dress, the wicker plate chargers at each place setting that anchored the high and low floral centerpieces (filled with the trendy fern!), and the towering berry-topped partial naked cake. You can't help but feel their joy when looking at their wedding day memories!
