Quirky Elegant Wedding with Momofuku Cake

Inspired by giving their guests a true fun wedding experience reflective of their personalities, Gretchen and Scott sought out to make their celebration a day full of surprises and treats for their loved one in the heart of Norfolk. From an iconic confetti-dappled Momofuku Milk Bar wedding cake topped with an adorable vintage kitsch cake topper to peaches nestled into florals to a Pittsburgh-originated cookie table tradition to salty pretzel late night snacks, the whole evening was a feast for the eyes and tastebuds.

Blush pinks and whites made up Gretchen and Scott's romantic color palette which was the lovely contrast to the tall modern windows of the Half Moone as it looked out to the Elizabeth River. Dusty purple bridesmaid dresses complemented the lighter pastels in the bouquets, each detail carefully brought together by Cherry Blossom Planning Factory and perfectly captured by Stephanie Yonce Photography. With light sabers, photo booth props, and glow sticks, the entire wedding day was filled with awesome memories.
