From wedding planning tips to styled shoots and real weddings, we try our best to be as honest as possible with you, dear readers. So, let me be very clear: I want to move into this Texas garden wedding!
When the gorgeous images by Fairy Tale Photography landed in my inbox, I caught myself pausing to really reflect and catch all of the details in each one. Gorgeous golden light paired with Christina and Mark’s fantastic style (the groom topped off his attire with a plaid bow tie!) caused me to say, “this is fantastic” over and over again. I’m obsessed with the flowers designed by Everly Alaine Florals so much so that I’ve found my dream wedding bouquet and centerpieces, you can recreate the watercolor stationery because the duo purchased all of the pieces from Minted (one of our favorites!), and the Trinity River Audubon Center served as a lovely venue (one which I’m certain had an awesome sunset with the wraparound windows).
Before you dive headfirst into all of the photos and Christina’s insight, I’ll leave you with this: V List Member Julie from Events By Jules planned Christina and Mark’s sweet fete. If you’re planning a Dallas, Texas wedding, contact Julie – you won’t regret it! Enjoy, y’all!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
We actually found a lot of our vendors on Instagram. We would look through the Instagram photos to get a general feel of their styles and then go from there. Everything came together perfectly on the wedding day because we trusted the pros to do what they do best instead of being overly worried about every little thing.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
We made it a point to make our decisions quickly when it came to booking vendors since we knew that the vendors could book up far in advance. The most important thing to us was finding vendors that we could trust and enjoy working with – we were extremely fortunate to have worked with all of the wonderful vendors that helped pull our wedding together.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
We wanted an organic, natural wedding and the venue was perfect since it is a nature preserve and educational center. We wanted pops of color against the organic backdrop which we incorporated in all of the details.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
The best part of our wedding was having the opportunity to have all of our closest friends and family together in one place. Years from now, we will have great memories to share and reflect on with everyone.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Don’t sweat the small stuff and just enjoy the day! The guests are there to celebrate with you, so even if things aren’t exactly “perfect”, no one will notice!
