For Bethany and Diego, sixteen was extra sweet because that was the year they met each other. Although they attended the same high school, Diego was enrolled in an engineering program that was mostly isolated from the rest of the school. But they were lucky enough to have a mutual friend who introduced them, sparking endless after-school hang outs and more than eight years of adventures together.
And it wasn't long before Diego wanted to make sure Bethany was by his side for the rest of his life. “We went to Hawaii recently with my parents, and I never expected that to be the place where he proposed,” Bethany says. “But he did, and it was unforgettable!” Back home in Texas, Silver Bear Creative captured the glowing soonlyweds at golden hour for a romantic engagement shoot with a beautiful boho flair.
