Citrus Wedding Inspiration at King B Farms with The Wedding Plate | Nashville

With pops of pink, yellow, and coral, this citrus wedding inspiration styled shoot at King B Farm is giving us all the summery vibes! With the help of Amy of Ivy and Olive Events, the colorful and fun decor brought the rustic atmosphere to life. And we have to say the lemon accents on top of The Wedding Plate‘s china gives that perfect extra zest! Amy is sharing all of the details about this bright color palette along with photos captured by Jade Alexandria Photography, below!

What was the theme and what inspired it?

Amy: We chose our colors first and everything fell into place after that. We wanted to use bright florals to highlight a Southern Citrus feel. The venue is more rustic with beautiful landscaping and fun buildings on site. We chose our dresses to match the look and feel of the venue, but also to tie in the color scheme we had chosen. The vintage china helped tie in a little more of a vintage feel with modern touches.

What details were used to create the theme?

Amy: We chose bright, spring colors as our base. Buckets and Blooms, the florist, brought these colors to life through the bouquets and centerpieces they provided. King B Farm venue has a unique look to it. We used this look alongside our color scheme to help create a mood board to share with our participating vendors. We let them run with their ideas. Lisa with The Wedding Plate provided the vintage china as decorations for this shoot.

Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?

Amy: The bridal party models used are some of my dearest friends. I have known the “bride” for nearly 15 years. Being able to work with such good friends to fulfill some of my career goals was truly amazing. I also got to meet some new vendors who have become friends. Jade, the photographer, is such a sweet soul and so easy to work with. This shoot began as a message through Instagram. Next thing we know, we are putting together a styled photoshoot to highlight newer, local wedding vendors.

Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?

Amy: Most of the day ran perfectly smooth! One challenge we did face was that none of us had worked together before. Once we made that initial introduction on site and began working on our piece of the puzzle, everything went super smooth. Every vendor provided the best service possible and made this day truly magical.

These colors, those dresses, and this vendor team are perfection! Thanks so much to Amy of Ivy and Olive Events for sharing this citrus wedding inspiration with us!
