If we had to guess, we suspect that this country could be split down the middle between beach lovers and mountain lovers. Both naturescapes offer so much drama and beauty and this coastal New England elopement inspiration could even woo the mountain lovers.

This boho New England elopement inspiration shoot took place at Branford Point Beach in Branford, Connecticut. Most styled elopements and intimate weddings in New England take place in the mountains – we wanted to showcase that a seaside elopement can be equally dramatic and romantic!

Our bridal model Deana wears a gorgeous lace gown from the Wilderly Bride collection, courtesy of Julie Allen Bridals. Her stunning hair and makeup, by team Styles by Allyssa and Beauty by Chelsea Dae, complement the jawdropping celestial crown handcrafted by Green Alaska Decor. Both bride and groom wear modern glasses frames. Our floral designer, Sweet Talk Florals, hand-built the aspen wood lean-to ceremony backdrop.

The shoot also featured a trendy white peacock wicker chair, with a beautiful sweeping floral installation. The elopement table is set on a vintage steamer trunk right on the beach, with artsy black-and-gold silverware and nautical + mauve details. Alyssa’s Cakery provided the perfect, minimal yet elegant cake for this boho shoot. The unique invitation suite features an illustrated map and dried floral details, by Lahontan Letterworks. A custom woodburned ring box by Cypress & Whim showcases the three-stoned gold engagement ring perfectly.

As the weather grew stormy, our bride threw on an effortlessly cool denim jacket and we headed up the coast to a perfect rock outcropping where it truly looks as though the sea blends into the sky. This coastal New England inspiration shoot showcases different 2020 trends seamlessly combined into one indie-inspired elopement.
