If you’re considering a destination wedding, no need to look any further than this equally fun and glamorous affair in Cancun, Mexico! The stylish bride and groom infused their celebration with touches of local culture including a churro cart, mariachi band and welcome bag gifts. Taking full advantage of their tropical surroundings, the ceremony and reception were held on a beach and every single capture by Brittany Lauren Photography is sure to leave you in total awe!
From Brittany Lauren Photography: Adrienne and Gerry were married on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico! They kicked off their weekend long celebration with a welcome dinner boat party. Guests jumped off the boat into the crisp, blue Caribbean Sea as the boat pumped epic tunes all day. Finally, the ended the night dancing, eating tacos, and watching the sunset paint the skies pink and purple.
They officially welcomed their guests with personalized welcome bags with all the essentials to enjoy a vacation in Mexico! We kicked off the wedding by taking bride and groom portraits in an abandoned hacienda down the beach from the hotel. Adrienne looked gorgeous in her Leanne Marshall wedding dress and Gerry stunned in a navy blue suit. It was an amazing backdrop and added the perfect touch of authentic Mexico to their beach chic wedding. After a beautiful ceremony on the beach, guests were serenaded by a Mariachi band and invited to munch on elotes before being seated for dinner. Adrienne and Gerry are big travelers and love seeing the world. I loved that each of their tables was named after a country, it was the perfect touch to add a bit of their personality into their wedding. They also gifted all of their guests personalized luggage tags! To end the night, everyone danced as they watched the moon rise and ate their weight in fresh churros provided by a churro cart on the beach! Needless to say it was an amazing experience and event, which is what I think is so wonderful about destination weddings. Everyone who attends has an experience together and makes memories they won’t ever forget!
