A gorgeous couple and a gorgeous car. What more could you really ask for from this engagement session from Chickadees Photography? Tamaira and Tate need no props, but adding in the cool white Stingray Corvette was the cherry on top of this session. Which, by the way, gave us some faint “Grease” vibes.
How did you meet?
We went to the same high school and knew of each other but never talked until college. My best friend was dating his best friend so he was trying to set up a double date. I was walking to my class when I heard my favorite song playing really loud and I looked up and there he was, in his big charcoal grey truck singing it. He looked over at me and smiled. I messaged him and said “that’s a great song”, and he invited me for a ride. That is when we starting making memories.
What is your proposal story?
We went to a nice romantic dinner downtown and after we walked around and looked at all the lights. And it’s almost as if he dropped to one knee when all the lights lit up for the Christmas event going on. It was so magical, I couldn’t even comprehend what was going on. At first I thought he was joking, but then I saw his face and looked in his eyes and knew he was serious. And that is what made this shoot to special because it was downtown and it was like reliving that beautiful, magical moment.
Tell us about the ring/band.
It is a beautiful cushion shaped diamond with tiny diamonds outlining it and tiny diamonds around the band.
