Fun Colorful Ballroom Wedding with Chic Lucky Charms Macarons

Fun, fun, fun, and a whole lot of color! Mike and Maggie's playfully chic day was all about vibrant celebration and memorable amusement. Against the backdrop of the classic John Marshall Ballroom in Richmond, modern aesthetic took over with bright greenery popped with fuchsia, red orange, cornflower blue, and other vivid hues. From a giant and eclectically decorated escort card tree overflowing with flowers, to Lucky Charms macarons for everyone's sweet teeth, to a faux turf aisle runner and photo booth backdrop, life and love exploded in the River City.

Designed by Alyson Taylor Events and captured by Abigail Volkmann Photography, the energy and happiness exuded from Maggie and Mike was contagious to all of their wedding guests. The couple's shared love for biking came through in a big way at the reception (just check out that adult-sized tricycle entrance!) and their love for family showed at the ceremony (can we talk about Maggie's adorable aunt-turned-fabulous-flower girl?!). With a nod to old time traditions and joy at the future ahead, this modern eclectic day is inspiring to all of us who love to live life colorfully!
