This phenomenon is becoming a favorite thing of ours to see. Honestly, we’re not even sure if it’s a legitimate phenomenon, but it is a fabulous concept: Bethany and Will’s intimate, musical in-home couple’s session at an AirBNB in Joshua Tree is starting a trend of sorts in our eyes.
We know that trips and vacations are currently in hiatus, so when you are able to FINALLY (emphasis on finally, right?) enjoy some time away from your homebase in another place that looks this photogenic, commemorate it with a sweet session like B + W did with astonishing photog Allie Dearie Photography. We can always use more good memories in our lives.
How did you meet?
We were set up by mutual friends! It took several attempts to finally meet and once we did I was unsure about him. He was handsome but so different than anyone I ever dated. On one of our dates I told him I was a little unsure, he grabbed my hand and looked me straight in the eyes and said “I’m going to win you over” and just like that, he did.
What is your proposal story?
Will was working at a church at the time. He told me to meet him there after because he wanted to show me a video him and his friend worked on together. He led me on to the stage, I thought it was ridiculous I was on stage but he’s silly so I went with it. All of a sudden a video started playing of all of my friends saying the sweetest things about me and my relationship with Will. Once it was over, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
What were your favorite parts of the day?
Allie was so sweet and just told us to be natural and talk to each other. It was fun to be cuddled up to Will and show off our love!
