If there is one thing that makes anybody stop and stare, it is a dramatic, beautiful black ballgown and the drama of today’s piece, combined with the almost eerie lakeside setting, gives a look that is not for the fainthearted, and one that makes an amazing statement in its unexpected beauty and that combination? It’s just the ticket for the most dramatic of days – Halloween!.

With photographer  Dewinta Dandot Photography behind the camera, our model, Rechelle Brook glammed up in two stunning gowns from Leah S Designs, The first, a traditional white gown, with a black waistband, and beautiful lace sleeves, and then the showstopper, a strapless black ballgown with a voluminous, dramatic black skirt of tulle that will take your breathe away. Accompanied by groom Guy Fredman in a classic black suit, the pair, took the glam style and completely upped the ante.

The drama continued to the hair and makeup styling, by Peggy Stasinos who added, defined, yet natural makeup to our “bride”, complimenting her Hello Lovers Australia jewels. The finishing touch? A completely winter-fied bouquet by Florium Creations with lichen covered branches, queen proteas, silver Antarctic roses and sprayed fern that was lush with textures and tones.

Photographer Dewinta tells “My favourite time of the day to capture memories is the golden hour at sunset, especially when the sky is filled with warm yellow and orange colours. I naturally lean towards this colour as it is softer to our eyes and it has a truly romantic feel.”
