Elizabeth and Kristen’s Charleston Wedding

When avid sailors Elizabeth and Kristen decided to tie the knot, it only made sense to incorporate nautical details into their wedding. The glowing couple got ready for the big day on separate boats, where one bride stepped into bright coral high heels and a laced-white dress and the other into light-brown boat shoes and a sweetheart-neckline gown tied together with a nautical blue ribbon. Before the ceremony, they stepped off their boats and onto the docks, which made the perfect place for their first look, and inside the venue, they said “I do” next to a wall of windows overlooking the marina filled with boats. Gillian Ellis Photography captured all the smiles, laughter and love on Elizabeth and Kirsten’s beautiful day.
