Outdoor Garden Engagement Session in Lubbock

Elizabeth and Ethan are your classically sweet couple. After capturing Ethan’s heart during a pre-job interview nine years ago, the pair became inseparable and started dating soon afterwards. Fast forward nine years later to the date, Ethan proposed to Elizabeth and the rest became history, with Kirsten Prater Photography chronicling a very momentous chapter in their lives. We’re sure they’re ecstatic and we bet their three puppers are happy as well!

How did you meet?

Ethan and I met working at the same restaurant 9 years ago! I greeted him when he walked in to interview and he says he remembers thinking he wanted the job even more after that!

What is your proposal story?

We got engaged on our 9th anniversary. We went to dinner at a nice restaurant downtown and then went for a stroll on the college campus across the street after. A bit into our walk, he dropped down on one knee and told me all the things you’d want to hear in a proposal. I could tell he was nervous but me never missed a beat, it was perfect!

Tell us about the ring/band.

My ring is a thin 14k gold band with a larger center diamond and two smaller diamonds on either side. It was a custom piece made by local jeweler J Kieth.
