Pastel Kentucky Derby Inspired Wedding

The first time Tim and Martha met was after he started his job as a meteorologist at Channel 8 in Richmond, but sparks didn't fly until they were introduced again a few years later as a perfect match for each other. A first kiss at the Science Museum of Virginia eventually led to a proposal in the same spot, and soon the wedding date was approaching. As history buffs with special family ties to Williamsburg (as well as Hampton Roads careers -- if the groom looks familiar to you, it's because Tim is a meteorologist at 13News Now on WVEC!), Williamsburg was the perfect place to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of the St. George Tucker House.

Lush springtime florals were the story of the day, and we can't stop staring at Martha's bouquet! Blush peonies, pastel yellow roses, orchid plants, and eucalyptus were lovely complements to their Kentucky Derby celebration. From vintage horses on table numbers to signature cocktails like the mint julep to even watching the big race on a widescreen at the reception, everything was quite the equestrian experience for the couple and their guests.
