Show Off Your Shoulders

Maybe you’ve got that sunkissed glow, or have been working those lat pulls, but never has there been a better time to show off your shoulders than now.

Wearing short off-the-shoulder sleeves like this A-line bridal gown, not only bares your skin but the sleeves draw your eyes up to your shoulder and your collar bone.

So many gowns these days offer showy shoulders thanks to a resurgence of hippy, bohemian bridal style. Pair your gown with loose waves, or show off a bit more by pulling them off your collar bone into a low bun or braid.

Love Your Lower Back

When you do that three-sixty twirl, give your guests a reason to jaw-drop with a sexy, low back gown.

The great thing about low back gowns, is that they go with just about any fit, style and shape you can think of.  We’ve chosen a fitted gown here to really show off how sexy you can style a low back gown. But you bare your back in any style, try a flowing, A-line skirt, or a loose silk slip, you name it, you can work your back into it.

Expert tip, if you lower the hem on your back, and lengthen your train (as seen here) you create an even longer illusion of length.

Highlight Your Waist

Bridal separates time!

Do you love your waist? Lucky for you, with bridal separates not only can you show off your midriff but you get endless top and skirt pairing options.

Crop tops generally come in all styles and levels of coverage, from little silk camis, to long sparkling sleeves. The bandeau with a high lace neck on this lace bateau top looks sophisticated and classy, while still sharing that bare mid section.

Feel free to experiment with skirts too, find a hip hugging fitted skirt or perhaps a layered tulle ballerina skirt, the options never end!

Accentuate Your Girls

If you’ve got ’em, flaunt ’em. Hell, if you don’t got ’em, still flaunt ’em! Point is, if you’re proud of your chest don’t be afraid to show your girls off.

Embellished illusion panels are all the rage these days giving brides the option of going super sexy with totally sheer tops, or slightly showy with suggestive embellishment, you decide how revealing you want to go.

Choose a sheer top with beading like this scoop neck bridal top for a luxurious look, or choose an embellished lace number for a more romantic feel.

And please, wear the bra that makes you feel comfortable! Many illusion dresses will cover your girls in all the right places without needing undergarments, but you can also use this opportunity to show off any gorgeous, bridal lingerie you’ve selected just for the dress.

Show Off Your Curves

Hello ladies, welcome to the Claire Eliza curvy club! No matter what age I’ve been, how much I’ve weighed, what athletic shape I’m in (sorry, so excited for once about my killer elliptical skills) I have always had curves. That big butt and small waist aren’t going anywhere. Boys always joked about them on the playground in school, but joke’s on them because they ain’t getting none of this.

A sheath gown is where I’m heading to show off my curves, not quite as tight and fitted as a column gown (although another great option!) but sheaths pull in at your smaller waste then catch along your fuller bits. Often, these gowns will relax at the legs, still making this an easy wedding dress to dance about in.

Look Nine Miles Long

Whether you’re already a WNBA star or a petite girl like me, if you want to look nine miles long, go for it! When else can we walk around with a luxurious train following behind?

For instance, a ball gown that gown hits high at the waist, creates the illusion your legs start even higher, then extend beyond the ground and behind you with a train of your choosing. (Don’t forget your cheeky heels too!)
