Overflowing with romance and elegance, this oceanside blush, mint and gold wedding is most certainly one for the books! With the groom’s adorable daughter stealing the show, a stunning beachfront ceremony, and a reception full of lush florals and blush sequins, you just really can’t go wrong. Avant Images captured the day beautifully, and the gorgeous bride, Allison, has joined us today to share some insight into her day…
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My wedding planner, Amanda Peterson, from Ocean Breeze Weddings was extremely helpful in every part of our wedding. My Mom and Mother in Law were also provided great advice and help throughout the process. On the day of my wedding my bridesmaids helped keep me calm and relaxed.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
When deciding who to work with for the wedding, I knew I wanted to chose vendors who could capture my ideas and transform them into our dream beach wedding. It was also important for me to find vendors that were easy to work with and accommodating.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
I definitely used Pinterest and Etsy to find a lot of inspiration for our wedding. I knew I wanted a romantic, shabby chic, seaside ceremony and I’ve always loved the color combinations of blush, mint, and gold. When my ideas in mind I used pinterest to find details to share with vendors to help create my design. Our event designer, Zhenia from Blu Event Design & Couture Florists, was simply amazing. She definitely created a beautiful design that exceeded my expectations.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about our wedding was getting to marry my best friend on the beach and spending the night celebrating with our favorite people in the world.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice for other brides is to invest in a wedding planner and vendors that you can trust to make your day everything you dreamed of and more. Having a wedding planner and amazing vendors made my day stress free and I was able to enjoy it with my new husband, friends and family.
