Romantic Fall Wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch

The frigid temperatures on Lindsey and Bob’s wedding day certainly didn’t stop these two from celebrating. Despite the fact they had a pristinely sunny day, the monstrous and majestic Rocky Mountains brought in not one but two snowstorms. The Tunstalls, though, are an adventurous couple through and through so they wouldn’t have minded the impending weather. As we can see from Michele with One L Photography’s captures from their day, the snow brought a shine to everything and complemented their idyllic simplicity. Lindsey frequented Devil’s Thumb Ranch often, so she didn’t want to overshadow the wonder and the pair kept their designs understatedly elegant with a jewel-toned color palette of burgundy, sage, blush pink, steel blue, and gold. To fill up their reception space, Lindsey’s aunt, Julie Fuller, and her friend, Kristin Simmons, waved their floral wands and roses, dahlias, eucalyptus, and hydrangeas in various shades of reds, pinks, golds, and greens showed up. Such a lovely day!

Why a Mountain Wedding?

The beauty of the mountains is inspiring. Being in the mountains brings a sense of stillness, peace, and awe. All the worries of the world melt away when surrounded by such a place. Not only do we love being in the mountains, we wanted to give our guests, many who traveled from very far, the same gift.
