Sophisticated sapphire wedding style in New Orleans

We are simply obsessed with this styled wedding design featuring shades of this year’s Pantone color, classic blue. The gorgeous Le Pavillon Hotel hosted this styled shoot the I Do Y’all creative team designed in collaboration with some of the area’s most creative wedding pros. The photos captured by Rare Sighting Photography were simply stunning and became the cover feature of our Winter edition of I Do Y’all Magazine.

The hotel provided the most elegant backdrop for our team’s design, from the stunning Bijoux dining room in the most gorgeous shades of white, gray, and icy blue to the breathtaking staircase leading to the intimate ballroom featuring period accents and a marble fireplace.

A Cut Above Stationery created the perfect invitation suite.

Brides, grooms, and their attendants can enjoy a number of luxury suites while preparing for their nuptials. Our groom’s suite features dark wood and leather wallpaper and offers a sanctuary where he and his guys can relax, share a drink, or find some entertainment to pass the hours before the wedding.

Le Pavillon Hotel boasts one of the most beautiful and luxurious bridal suites we’ve seen with both a full dining and living room complete with a baby grand piano.

Couples have their choice of venue options at Le Pavillon Hotel with rooms of various sizes, styles, and budgets. Receptions can be hosted in the gorgeous Bijoux dining room with sparkling chandeliers, a beautiful, grand fireplace and the most gorgeous lighting. Our creative team brought together the talents of Three Little Words planning and event design and Still Magnolia Floral Design to create an elegant and opulent tableau.

The hotel is famous for its nightly lobby service of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The comfort food is served to hotel guests from 10-11pm every evening with ice cold milk and hot chocolate, a tradition enjoyed by regular guests for years.
A four-tier, hand painted cake in shades of blue by Kimbla’s Cakes added a romantic touch to the entire design.

There are so many gorgeous locations around the hotel for photographs. The dazzling lobby and with adjacent bar area is a perfect spot for pre-wedding photos. Capture your first look on the grand staircase or under the massive crystal chandeliers.

The lower level ballroom is the perfect spot for your ceremony. Lovely and intimate, this space can accommodate 150 guests or a smaller group as space is required. Additional venue spaces are available on the second floor where couples can select from a small room for a pre-wedding brunch or elopement ceremony, or they can reserve the entire floor with venue space and room blocks for their entire wedding party.

The intricate, wrought iron scrollwork on the stairway bannister is a classic New Orleans touch. Brides love to take advantage of this sweeping stairway for portraits.
