Something blue becomes something stunning with Kimberlee and Jeffrey’s romantic late summer Temecula wedding! The amazing team at Michelle Garibay Events worked together with Kimberlee to create a lush garden vibe, with a soft color palette of blues, pinks, and creams. The end result was nothing short of perfection! Temecula Creek Inn is a stunning location and set the scene with a dreamy ceremony under the trees, complete with lush floral backdrop and petal lined aisle. The sweetheart table with powder blue settee is darling and so chic with the mirrored table. It’s the statement escort card display though that has our hearts and it sure to have yours! Tell us a little a bit about your wedding.
The style of our wedding was soft and romantic with a hint of rustic. We had lots of flowers and greenery. The color theme of the wedding, including the flowers, were pastel (light pinks, cremes, and whites). We also incorporated some ice blue into the decor. All of our chairs were a darker wood. The location we chose was a Stone House, which was built in the late 1800’s, at Temecula Creek Inn, that fit in with the rustic theme.
What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?
A couple of the most important things to us when planning our wedding were the flowers, desserts, and the DJ. The flowers were important to me because they are my absolute favorite thing so I wanted a lot of them incorporated into the wedding. Our flower arch for the ceremony was one of my favorite decorations. We definitely chose to splurge on the flowers. Another thing that was important to us was the desserts. We had a three tier cake (each layer with a different flavor) and several other little desserts, which we chose different flavors for each one also. We both have a sweet tooth, which is why this was important to us. The last thing that was very important to us while planning was the DJ/ music. We wanted our wedding to be so much fun not only for ourselves, but for all of our family and friends. We wanted a great DJ who could get our guests out on the dance floor all night long. This is exactly what happened. There were people from young to old dancing ALL NIGHT! We are so incredibly thankful we splurged on a DJ because we had an amazing DJ that played such a great selection of music. He truly made such a difference and made it the funnest wedding!
Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?
The advice I would give to couples planning their wedding is to get a wedding planner! Having one is so incredibly helpful and takes so much of the stress off of yourself. Also I would tell them to enjoy the experience of planning everything and the time they have before the wedding because it goes by so fast!
