Lee and Jorie trecked high atop of Roan Mountain for their engagement photos. They enjoyed a beautiful evening with a constant breeze, blue skies and soft fluffy cloudy floating overhead. Charlie, their handsome golden retriever, joined them on their short hike up the mountain, stopping at a few places, including the forest and a large rock overlooking the mountain range. At the top, they were greeted with a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of the mountains. Standing tall in 5,512 feet in elevation, Roan Mountain is in the Pisgah – Cherokee National Forest, on the Appalachian Trail.
