Traditional Filipino Catholic Wedding with Garden Details

With such a military based community as we have, traditions from around the world often filter into the wedding world here in Hampton Roads. Brad and Jessica had much to celebrate at their wedding the day after they celebrated 13 years of dating through high school, college, military deployments, and all the transitions life can bring. With a heritage in Southeast Asia, Jessica chose to celebrate with a Catholic-Filipino ceremony, incorporating traditions such as the veil and cord ceremony with the couple's sponsors who will walk alongside them as they begin their marriage.

After the traditional vows at St. Paul's Cathedral in Portsmouth the reception kicked off in style at the Woman's Club of Portsmouth. MorLina Events crafted each element from the ivory, mint, and blush color palette to the adorable sequined sweetheart table. With every detail captured beautifully by Maria Grace Photography, we can’t help but swoon over these two lovebirds' special day!
