The Obici House is a historic mansion located in Suffolk, Virginia at Sleepy Hole Golf Course. It was once home to the founder of Planters Peanuts; Amedeo Obici and his wife Louise. The driveway is flanked by two lions, imported from Paris. The 18th green sits behind the house and provides guests with a spectacular view of sunsets on the Nansemond River. This venue is filled with chandeliers, original stained glass windows, Greek columns, tile and woodwork. Indoor events accommodate up to 150 guests and unlimited guests outside. Wedding ceremonies may be held at the Pergola, with it's scenic water front background; under the house portico framed by Greek columns, or one of several indoor locations.
